The joylessness of the box score
I thought of posting a Saturday Eye Candy, highlighting Carlos Beltran's walk-off home run. But in the box score, this is all you see. Sort of sad, eh?
I was at the game. Honestly, after watching them repeatedly leaving the bases loaded, I was fighting off sleepiness in the 9th inning. The walk-off definitely woke me up though!
I also noticed there were more people there than that Return-of-Robbie-Cano game I attended. Unfortunately, many of them were way more invested in doing the wave than the watching the game.
