  2. Stanton can't run but he hits the ball hard.

Atlanta has better defense than us.

  5. Good question though, Steve. I think it was because Boone is an idiot.

  6. Stroman is wilting. And.... Hamilton is warming up.

  7. Next Boone-related questions: how many outs will he try to steal out of Stroman, and how many runs will ATL score as a result?

And, whilst we’re chatting….I have one question.

  10. Wow! It looks like we're going to the World Series now and, as usual, we will win. I don't have enough fingers or toes for all these rings. Maybe I'll put the next one on my dangly parts and get a tattoo of Brian's face on my forehead. I bow down the the Yankees every day. Rings rings rings! What a great team. We own the league.

    2. I worked with a musician/producer in London on a TV campaign. He told me that he hung up on Paul McCartney thinking it was someone pulling his leg. But Paul called back and hired him to do some string arrangements for one of his albums. He also did music for one of George Harrison's Handmade Films and they argued about a piece for the film... until he realized he was arguing with George Harrison and thought, "What am I doing?"

He worked with Bananarama, too. No auto tune back then, and they were off key a lot, so the studio crew cut single notes out of the takes and recorded them at different speeds to correct the pitch and then lay them back into the songs.

    3. That guy's music was the only good thing about that campaign. The director was a complete stiff, as was our agency's producer. Real mess.

  13. I have to look up and see if I can find Judge’s stat line batting with 2 strikes. It has to be awful.

  14. Even Leiter has a better era than this roster spot.

  15. As usual the team gets burned by the oppo’s best hitter Do they think it’s against the rules to pitch around them?
