WE HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS GOOD. THE YANKEES ARE NOW "HOT" AND GETTING BETTER ALL THE TIME. BOONE, BRIAN AND HAL - YOU WILL NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS GET SUCH LEADERSHIP AGAIN. ENJOY IT NOW. THIS IS THE DREAM TEAM. WHERE IS ALLCAPS WHEN WE NEED HIM? I LOVE YOU ALL. WELL, SOME OF YOU. PLAY BALL!
It did, Hinkey. He got tired of the sacrilege that bursts out here all the time. We didn’t take ourselves seriously enough. And we certainly didn’t respect some creatures enough.
Don’t worry. After Boston takes the lead, Volpe will bash a go-ahead home run in the 8th, & make two fantastic, run-saving defensive gems in the 9th. It’s in his DNA.
4 more lousy AB’s for Judge. Are we sure he’s healthy? Right now he’s killing us, and is a very easy out for any experienced pitcher. Bench him. You heard me.
Anthony Volpe was flawless, not making an out at the plate or a play in the field. Also, he was productive while on the bench, expertly massaging Aaron Boone’s ankles.
We’re saying that the future of the Yankees franchise depends on how many pounds of lobster and red vines you can consume prior to the end of the 2025 season.

ReplyDeleteALL CAPS absence from the blog didn’t coincide with any 21st century, US presidential elections, did it? Asking on behalf of a nation.

DeleteYankees ahead?
ReplyDeleteWell way back Williams is rested, so they only need 8 more runs.
Interesting strike zone tonight.
ReplyDeleteFlexible…
DeleteFormatting is soooo hard.
ReplyDeleteBut I fixed it.
I shed a tear that Volpe was not in the starting line up.
ReplyDeleteYou and his mother are the only two.
DeleteWill the BP hold?
ReplyDeleteI lost my work phone. Which is annoying. All my two factor authenticators!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd we are definitely going to lose tonight.

ReplyDeleteVolpe at short and Way-Back on the mound? What could possibly go wrong?
ReplyDeleteThank God !
ReplyDeleteVOLPE LIVES !!!
In the 9th, just to stick it to all you malcontents out there, Williams will play short & Volpe will pitch.
ReplyDeleteShould have done it and have Stanton catching.
DeleteBellinger's offense as good as his numbers are..just isn't impactful as let's say Swisher was in his day...
ReplyDeleteYankees are undefeated on August 24 2025! Take that, Boston!
