Grisham is making 5 million this year. I would happily re-sign him to a two year, 15 million dollar deal to stay on with us. He’s shown he’s quite comfortable playing in NY. Getter done, Son.
How about The Brain pushing for "younger, faster, more athletic, oh and CHEAPER" next year by going with an outfield of Judge, Spencer Jones, and The Martian? Find a CHEAP fourth and fifth outfielder have money for that young power hitting Japanese corner infielder, three bullpen arms, and maybe a starter. Because NFW do they pay for Bellinger, and Grisham will soon age out of CF, and has no track record. And Kyle Tucker, well the money that the pundits are spewing is crazy talk, but you never know. My scenario is a bit tongue in cheek, but there is a lot of silly talk going on....
I hate to say it, but it should be said. Volpe had a pretty nice defensive game. If only he could reach first base in the air when he throws. But hey, why quibble.

In fact the whole INF is very sub-par defensively
Good work by Rodon to work through that mess.

ReplyDeleteForgot what a clean baseball game is like…
ReplyDeleteTrent Grisham has 30 HRs, and there’s about a month to go in the season.
ReplyDeleteI did not have that on my bingo card for 2025.
(Although to be honest, I don’t even have a bingo card. Where do you get these “bingo cards” everyone talks about? I want one.)

DeleteThat’s funny, Hinkey. I’m pretty sure that gets completely filled at every postgame presser.
DeleteTrent Grisham now has more home runs than Jasson Dominguez and Paul Goldschmidt combined … and it’s not even close.
ReplyDeleteAstros cheating again
ReplyDeleteThis game gets weirder & weirder.
ReplyDeleteWaiting for George Brett to come charging out of the dugout like a wildman.
ReplyDeleteThat was a lot of time spent on nothing, apparently.
ReplyDeleteGet your pineapples ready.
ReplyDeleteLighter fluid will fix it.

DeleteYou’re correct Kevin. Cash will re sign Grisham for 24 M over three years
