For whatever crazy reason, Judge gave the Yankees a huge break. Should've had at least another 90 mill. 10 yrs @ 45 mill per would've been a fair contract at that time.
Of course, now, there's big time inflation. Salaries are doubling.
Haven't heard if any of the 60 mill is deferred, like Ohtani's. So I guess it's not deferred. BTW, what happens if Ohtani drops dead before the deferred payments kick in? Do his beneficiaries get paid?
