Hey, Duque! What's the story?

What's the current snowfall score? Who's in first? What's in second?

  1. Thank god the Golden Snowball is not up to Hal's whims and caprice.

  2. Last I looked, Syracuse was 40 inches ahead of Buffalo, it's "closest" competitor. And we're getting drilled today.

  3. Imai to Astros.
$63 million over three years, but he can opt out after the 2026 or 2027 seasons.

Apparently, the “Yankees” never even made an offer, highlighting both their anti-Asian bias and unwillingness to spend. Hoping fans boycott the team, especially financially.

  4. So Hal's not even pretending to finish second anymore. Great.

    1. Hoss, as with a certain political ilk in this country, Hal doesn't even *pretend* to care anymore. Why pretend? It's just more work. The big "Fuck You" is out loud and proud with the plutocrats. It's terminal arrogance. Time to make guillotines fashionable again.

  5. How on earth do they not even make an offer? What a pathetic excuse for a GM / owner.

  9. the thing about Little Hal is that he's clearly unhappy. that was always my first impression on seeing his face. which always leads me to wonder what animates him. horses? soccer? money - this one is likely. and I posit that making sure the Yankees fail secretly thrills him.

  10. Bitty, I think you're right, though it's maybe a little more complicated: I think he thinks he's "beating" his father by running up even higher profit margins. The idea of the team's success on the field? He could not care less.
