I don't know who does the visuals for this website. But come on out and take a bow!
The images always leave me laughing before I even read the blog. The mock soap ad is priceless. But I definitely don't want that box anywhere near my tub. The thought is kind of horrifying.
Above Average, I think Boone is Bubbles. His myopic, nonsensical, ridiculously-upbeat press conferences are laugh-worthy events in themselves. Bubbles it is!
I saw somehting about this two or three weeks ago in a more speculative vein. This article seems to add a little bit of meat to the story. Though I doubt it happens.
Yankees insider Joel Sherman's exhaustive search for a right-handed bench bat led him back to Andújar this week, who's available for cash alone and could certainly provide a bigger splash than the dregs of the righty catcher market. There are even decision-makers in the Yankees room who reportedly "love" the player. But would Andújar entertain it? And where was that love when his previous Yankees tenure fizzled and he was cast aside? These are the same decision makers, after all.
This post reminds me of the old "Would you rather..."' game. As in, would you rather sniff Len Trott's sneakers or take a bubble bath with Aaron Boone?

He's the manager we love to hate and hate to love.
ReplyDelete"Bubble bubble toil and trouble", certain I got that mixed up with the "The Name of The Scottish Play"...
ReplyDeleteI'm so torn.
ReplyDeleteShould I refer to Bøøne as Bubbles or should I call him Seedy ?
Until I can resolve this I will be at a loss.

Many of the visuals are by AA, Above Average himself. They, like he, are definitely above average.

None of us deserve his BS, unless we seeked it!
