  2. You stretched out his head, right? Cause if not, then we know the aliens are the reason that the dynasty is dead. Also, here's a fun game - since I'm currently looking at ticket prices for Y*****s games - what's the price of a ticket for the first game you ever went to. I honestly don't remember, but I know it was 1967 and I have a feeling that it was $2.50, but it could have been a little more. I DO know that Tommy Shirts and I did this bogus thing a few years ago where they would let you into the stadium for 15 bucks - this was not that long ago - but the catch was that you got no seat. So we walked around and ate and had a great time.

    1. I've done that, too. It's not bad.

I think I remember box seats right behind the dugout going for $4.50 or so back in the late 60s.

    3. Years ago - when I was still a Mets fan and still living in NYC (early 90s) my friend and I would go out to Shea Stadium, purchase a cheap seat and then make our way down to the lower box seats behind home plate and talk to an Usher whose name was Tiny. Tiny was about 6 feet tall and had to weigh close to 300 lbs. I was told about Tiny by another friend. You would find him, slip him a $20 bill (ten for each of us) and he would seat you a few rows from the field behind home plate. The understanding was that if the actual ticket holders showed up then you'd have to be happy and willing to have Tiny move you to another seat. I did this about four times.

  3. Boone yanks Cam at, what, 79 pitches? The kid could be less sharp at this point, but really? Idiot.

    2. I went trick or treating at the Beldar household when I was younger. The house next door was even better. It was Ken Kesey's.

    1. Just called him and he’ll be in the bullpen ready to go once they get back to the Bronx

    2. He'd probably still pitch better than these guys.

Didn't Palmer come back after he got in the HOF?

  9. Did our best to hand the game to the Ms, they would not take it.

  10. It took Bednar 40 pitches to get four outs? Five? Not exactly dominant.

  11. Cashman's big bullpen acquisitions are all shaky to very shaky.
