  1. I don't know who the Grady twins are. But nice job on the Brain pic.

    Oh wait, from The Shining?

    2. NOW YOU'LL REMEMBER THAT FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER

but seriously - I bet Cash gets on the phone with prospective players he wants to sign and says: "Come and play with us. Forever and ever and ever. . . . "

  2. Boone is an idiot. That wasn't worth challenging even if the ump got it wrong, which he didn't, imo.

  3. The incessant noise that is blasted at the Stadium after every pitch is another reason why I will never pass it’s portals again.

  4. Max has thrown 60 with no outs in the fourth.

    This is not good.

  5. MLB just suspended the 4 umps working the Yankees/Rangers series for bias against the Yankees that affected the game outcome
So far, no specifics were announced.

  9. Serious question: are the Yankees this good, or is the oppo so bad?

  10. Yes

And The Martian had two hits from the right side today. That means that Boooooone will need to rest him tomorrow

  11. Yeah, you know Boone will bench The Martian for a week now. But it was good to see some hits. With the few at-bats, he raised his batting average over a 100 points!

  13. Looks like The Martian is better from the right side this year. That was the situation in the minors before they brought him up: 19 at-bats, .368 BA/1.113 OPS against lefty pitching this year.

  14. But we can all calm down a bit. Orioles are proving they have the worst pitching in the majors. And not much offense either, despite adding Alonso, who continues to kill Yankee pitching.

    1. The Astros have the worst pitching in the majors. I haven't looked in a few days, but their ERA was about a mind' boggling 6.00.

  15. "Stunning move" -- says The Athletic: His rehab window closed, Volpe "optioned" to Scranton.....

    1. Thank goodness for that. Even a blind nut finds a squirrel now and again.

Is it possible someone in front office has done something smart by keeping Volpe in Scranton?

  16. Don't forget: the O's fielding also sucks.
