Weird thing is, Memorial Day used to cap off the weekend series, against whoever you were playing. Not anymore. Now MLB mandates a road trip in the middle of a holiday weekend.
Yeah, some things didn't need to change. Rob Manfred tweaked a lot of things that didn't need tweaking. Yet, MLB is still bleeding fans. Losing out to other sports, other activities. I don't much enjoy watching baseball anymore. Much rather watch a good movie. MLB can suck my cock.
Glad these idiots won - OUR idiots, if you will - but I must confess to being a bit twitchy and excited about Los KInicks. I was a much younger man the last time they came this close. But I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now.

ReplyDeleteAre these guys geniuses or what?
They deserve what’s coming to then next year.
DeleteI thought the game started at 3:40? On ESPN?
ReplyDeleteTV dictates the schedule

ReplyDeleteThey would if you paid them enough
DeleteThey did start the game. Not watching though. Yanks out 1-2-3 in 1st.
ReplyDeleteHadn't put ESPN on the favorite list. Every other ESPN but the original.
ReplyDeleteCody!
ReplyDeleteThat left in a hurry…
ReplyDeleteDo these announcers ever shut up? Jesus.
ReplyDeleteNot really…they get paid by the word…
DeleteMade me laugh, thanks.
DeleteWarren wildly wild.
ReplyDeleteAwful AB by Bellinger infield in, so he swings at the very first pitch, weak contact, squandered opportunity. HC Rowson sits comatose in the dugout.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty boring game.
ReplyDeleteWarren settled down…
ReplyDeleteUntil then…
ReplyDeleteAnd it's bullpen time. Doomed.
ReplyDeleteExtra innings loom on the horizon….
ReplyDeleteIsn’t this so exciting !
See !
ReplyDeleteThe porous pen. The disappearing bats. The idiot manager. The vile Volpe. Cashman the incompetent.
ReplyDelete✅. ✅. ✅. ✅. ✅
DeleteThat’s right Bellinger, swing at the first fucking pitch. Dont try to work the count.
ReplyDeleteRISP failure warning!
ReplyDeleteNever saw someone so happy to be thrown out on the bases
ReplyDeleteWhoopsie - somebody flipped the script
ReplyDeleteNow Bednar can piss it away.
ReplyDeleteYankees Win!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was weird. Bednar pitched a 1-2-3 inning. First time all season? Anyway, woo-hoo, & let’s hear it for the Royals & the AL Central.
ReplyDeleteHe walked a guy. Clean as you can ask for from him.
DeleteYankees won?? I was watching Band of Brothers and I missed it.
ReplyDeleteLike the old Graham Parker album, Squeezing Out Sparks.
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo
