Look at your Evil Poll Now, Superfrankenstein: Look, Because Love is Conquering

As Mr. Sterling would say, it's a LOVE Bomb from LOVE-ROD.

Three fans have now changed their vote...

In favor of love.

They changed their tune for this woman, Allison Jaskowiak, the one that Ian Kennedy has chosen to become his lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, to honor and to keep, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, 'till death does them part.

We shall pronounce them... Yankee and wife.

  1. This is horseshit. You, el duque, are the last person I ever thought would condone quitting on the Yankees.

  2. Superfrankenstein,

Did Sir Paul write, "All you need is Yogi Berra...?"

    No.

If you fight love, you will lose.

In fact, you will be crushed, your starter knocked out by the second inning, and your bullpen savaged and depleted by the sixth. You will lose 19-0, and you'll be so embittered that, after the game, you'll trade for Felix Heredia.

Do not fight, as Hughie Lewis once said, "the power of love."

  3. Solution:

Have A-Rod donate what he'd normally spend on one night of strip-club "tips," and use the cash to fly the 250 guests out to Yankee Stadium and have the ceremony at home plate before a game. Hell, there'll probably be enough left over to spring for a reception.

You're onto something. And thinking out loud now, could Jeter, as captain, pronounce them man and wife during the game?

  5. If Capt. Stubing could marry people on The Love Boat, then Capt. Jeter certainly could at Yankee Stadium

And then Mr. Hughes could pitch a shutout on his wedding night.

... of course, I mean in a game. "Pitching a shutout" afterward sounds like something that would leave Mr. Kennedy a bit embarassed and the mew Mrs. Kennedy a bit disappointed.

  6. "Mr. Hughes could pitch a shutout on his Wedding night."

    Hughes???

Ugh. Can't even keep my rookies straight.

  7. Allowing Jeter to perform marriages is genius. The new Yankee Stadium could have a wedding chapel. And Giuliani could throw it all of his own business.

  8. Pitching on his wedding night? It's perfect!

Of course, his bride will be the catcher.

  9. She's got a homepage. We can ask her.
