The sportswriters say Vizcaino is leaving.
.Who shall ever forget that night, October 21, 2000 in Game 1: Bottom of the 12th! Longest game in World Series history! The plunky infielder delivers the game-winning hit!
.Huh? Wrong Vizcaino?
.Hm-mm.
.This is the Vizcaino who on Oct. 5, 2007, walked the Cleveland Indian leadoff man, Kenny Lofton, in the bottom of the 11th, then gave up an 0-2 single to the great Franklyn Gutierrez, and so on. He ended the game, and our season, conceding a bases-loaded single to Travis Hafner, after pissing up the count to 3-2.
.Hey, at least he didn't walk in the run.
.So long, Vizzy. Good night and good luck.
