An insider tells me that John Sterling got so pissed when a girl on the opposing team committed a hard foul on his daughter that he gave the biggest dame on her team $100 to "get lost" during halftime. He apparently donned her gear and had 13 points and 11 boards in the second half, before fouling out with :32 to go. All 5 fouls were on the girl who hammered his daughter, and the last one forced her to leave the game with injury.

Not at all related but I saw John Sterling at a Rec Basketall game today. He was there watching his daughter play... He was glorius.
