Alou, 41, missed two and a half months last season with a strained left quadriceps and has a history of calf, ankle, hamstring and back injuries.
What a stroke of rotten luck! You got a great one like the 41-year-old Alou, and he just can't catch a break.
Worse, this is the Mets go-for-it-all year, too. Who would have thought that the 41-year-old Alou would end up missing time on those 41-year-old legs of his?
Damn. Let's just hope they can pull a big year from Damion Easley and El Duque.
