The Yankees Could Have Bought Bear Stearns

J.P. Morgan Chase spent $270 million to buy Bear Stearns.

A-Rod cost us $275 million.

Which leads to questions:

1. Could Bear Stearns play 1b?

2. Is Bear Giambi more valuable that Bear Stearns?

3. Could A-Rod have bought Bear Stearns?

4. Could A-Rod have bought Giambi?

5. Should the Fed have bailed us out for Pavano?

6. Igawa... WTF?

    With Pavano, we certainly should be eligible for disaster relief funds.
