Shelley's Night in Scranton: 4-5, HR, 3 Doubles

Three RBIs. Great night for our April Employee of the Month.

But one question, please, O Yankee Braintust...

Why the hell is Shelley playing DH?

You'd think him a potential 1B, who can spell Giambi, or -- better -- replace him...

So why is he DHing?

HOW MANY DHs DO WE HAVE? ARE WE LOW? Let's see... there's Matsui, Giambi, and tonight it's Posada...

ARE WE GROOMING SHELLEY AS OUR FOURTH DH?

    The PLAN is not to trade young players for over the hill super stars. Or even, on the hill super stars.

    The PLAN never was to use our young prospects efficiently.

    Just like our PLAN was to invade Iraq. It never involved getting out.

    It never involved not bankrupting the country.
