Yankeetorial: Is there an Employee of the Month Curse?

Are we hurting love ones whom we wish to honor?
.
Since launching YANKEE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH in January, there have been five recipients of the prestigious, non-monetary award.
.
Is it a curse? You decide.
.
Last month: Chien-Ming Wang. (OUT)

The previous month: Shelley Duncan (GONE)

The previous month: Phil Hughes (OUT)

The previous month: Hank Steinbrenner (VAGUELY COHERENT)

And the current Employee of the Month, Jason Giambi: HOT, BUT FOR HOW LONG?

  1. Excellent insight.

I think the editorial board needs to meet at Dinosaur and decide. Do they have a bar there?

  4. Let's play it safe and go with Farnsworth for this month. If the curse holds true, I think we can all live with that.

  5. DAMMIT.

Every single month, we've put up Igawa as a candidate. Nobody voted for him.

Do we want to improve the guy's trade value or not?

  6. I'd nominate Tom The Bumb but he seems to be MIA

  7. How many times am I allowed to vote for Igawa?

And, can I have my dead relatives vote for him that many times also?
