Impact on Posada: Anaylsis of the Krazy Kyle-Pudge Trade

It's like your wife is away for a while or in a coma or having surgery. And this really hot chick is in town, but just for a little while and not permanently and she likes you and wants to hang out and have fun. And she's really, really hot. And likes you. A lot. And really, really hot.

You don't love your wife any less, do you?

Of course not!

Well, it's like that.

  1. Whitey, you Clinton supporter...so morally relative based on the situation...

This move forces the Red Sawx into desperation mode, and they sign Bonds after trading Manny to the Marlins.

  2. Manny is not going the Marlins unless your pal Jack Abramoff told you differently.

Wait, he's in jail. Never mind.

Hey, Jason, maybe you should run for the Senate. I hear there's an open seat from Alaska...

  3. PeteAbe at LoHud says the hot rumor is a three-way BoSox-Pirates-Marlins deal that would send Manny to the Marlins and Jason Bay to Boston.

Manny's $20 million salary would push the Marlins' total payroll to almost $21 million.

  4. What was the deal with John McCain's first wife? And Newt Gingrich's?

  5. See, Whitey, the diff. is that I'm glad Stevens will be gone...good riddance.

Right, and Dems are never corrupt.
    Rostie?
    William Jefferson?
    Torricelli?
    Sandy Berger?
    Your boy Spitzer?
    Alcie Hastings?

The whole system is corrupt, because Congress (every one of them) takes taxpayer money and bribes their contituents with pork for re-election.

Until a third party candidate comes along with the integrity of Colin Powell and Perot-type coin, forget about it.

  6. oops, that's constituents.

  7. Jason;

All of them pale into insignificance next to the war criminals currently running the country, aided and abetted by Pelosi, Reid et al.

But Clinton's bj, Berger's papers in his underwear, Spitzer's hooker thing and the rest are just penny ante. They'd never make it in the GOP.

And if Colin Powell had had any integrity, he'd have resigned instead of bending over for Rummy. If he had, he'd be running instead of that poor old man, McCain.

Powell blew it. He could have REALLY made a difference.

  8. Scoop, and you're either naive or a Dem loyalist (or blinded by your opposition to Iraq) to make a differentiation between the two parties...I was in HS but I remember that Perot was leading in opinion polls before he got wacky with a message that the Dems and the GOP are two sides of the same coin. That resonates with the public, because it's true.

    Who wrote that?

Oh, the same guy who wrote:

Hey, it's OK to contradict yourself when you don't know what you're talking about in the first place.

(And who said anything about Iraq?)

  10. You guys are both missing the key point here.

That Uma Thurman is, like, really hot.

  11. Jaggoff;

Leave Jason alone! He's a bright and enthusiastic young guy who will find his way as he deals with the exigencies and realities of this world.

(Besides, he probably has no idea who your name is a take-off on.)

Leave our boy alone! He's cute. His comments are precious.

  12. Jason means well, so back off, Henry!

  13. I love it..ad hominem attacks are the first sign that your argument is ironclad.

    You never mentioned Iraq?
You mentioned something about war criminals running the country: Were you talking about some other war than our involvement in Iraq? Afghanistan, perhaps? Maybe the "war on drugs?"

    Your contention that:
"Clinton's bj, Berger's papers in his underwear, Spitzer's hooker thing and the rest are just penny ante. They'd never make it in the GOP."...laughable and demonstrates either naivete or blind loyalty.

And re: war criminals...McCain wants more troops in Afghanistan, so does Obama. McCain wants withdrawal horizons from Iraq based on conditions on the ground, and lately Obama has said:

    Wow. Huge difference.

But forget that shit, I'm just praying for a split this weekend.

  14. I dunno. Is that pic before or after Uma got an adrenaline shot shoved in her chest?
