Playoff-ready?

After last night's debacle? Are you kidding me?

And, really, nothing says "playoff-ready" like a picture of Sidney Ponson. (Side note: I'm convinced that with Ian Kennedy looking impressive at S-WB, the only reason Sidney hasn't been sent packing is because the Yankees were afraid the Angels' lineup would pound the hell out of IPK in his first start back and leave him shell-shocked for the rest of the year. So Sidney is the sacrifice tonight, and IPK will back when the Angels are out of town.)

Someone at Yankees.com has a real sense of humor. Or a horrible sense of timing.

    LOL I found that humorous also when I was at the Yankees site before. But apparently, they knew something that we didn't because Ponson just pitched 7 shutout innings.

    Haha, I picked up on that tonight too when I was at work. Funny stuff, would be even funnier if tonight's loss didn't suck so bad.
