A Train Blasts Through Bronx

Did anyone get the license of that speeding fast freight?

We were run over, spit out, and wrecked last night.

Then, there was the game.

While the Yankees relaxed and patted themselves on the back for what we now refer to as, " the great deadline trading  coups of '08," and chatted about how bad the Red Sox will be minus Manny, the Angels cleaned our clock and removed the second hand.

Andy did not throw a first pitch strike in his first 58.  On pitch 59, Tori Hunter went Yard for a three spot, and the game was over.  Except that the Yankees best effort resulted in giving up another double digit thrashing.

So, let's wake up America.   We have a better chance of becoming energy independent this year than the Yankees do of winning anything meaningful.

Sidney and Darrell are next up in the shooting gallery.

But Manny is in LA, Kyle is in Detroit, and Alberto is in DC.  And we think all is well with our older, slower, and more expensive team.

For those of you who are in foreign countries, I recommend you stay there until after the election.
