Yanks Continue Belt-Tightening Ways with Cheaper Solution at Firstbase

Last year: Jason Giambi, $23.4 million

Next year: Mark Teixiera, $18 million

That leaves $5 million for the luxury tax.

    Giambi knows not the meaning of your "belt tightening." When the Giambino wants his waist cinched inwardsly, he merely buys a smaller size thong.
