This Bill Is designed to Bankrupt the Catholic Church !!!

News flash :

Roman Catholic Moral Leaders have joined with the Ethical Standards Board of numerous Orthodox Jewish Organizations in an intense lobbying effort to block a bill before the NY State Legislature that would temporarily lift the statute of limitations for lawsuits alleging the sexual abuse of children against members of these religious bodies.

"If this bill passes, we'll have more claims than the volume of toxic credit defaut swaps held by AIG," stated one source close to Vatican square.

"I mean, once these young boys turn 18, anything that happened to them in their early experiences with the church should be expunged from all records," says another unnamed robed-one, decked out in Liberace-like attire.

As to the Orthodox side of the lobbying effort, one Hasidic gentleman
stated, " we do everything in private. We don't deal with secular authority."

The recent conviction of a Hasidic Rabbi for sexually abusing his daughter over a seven year period has unleashed streams of sexual abuse complaints from former students of orthodox schools in Williamsburg ( Brooklyn ).

At some orthodox schools, " it's almost as though sexual abuse was a core class, like
arithmetic," stated another member of the Satmar sect who would not speak
without assurance of anonymity.

So how does this highly contoversial New York state Bill relate to baseball?

It is the flip side of the expoitation of underage baseball players in certain Latin America countries, which also seems to lack governance and appears " condoned by benign neglect " in MLB office suites.

What kind of abuses are taking place with these underage players? Stealing their money? Bad contracts? False promises? Steroid use? Worse?

It is time to rid ourselves of these hypocritical moral authorities. Time and time again, it seems as if their only true moral goal is not to get caught and not to pay the price for their perversions and trangressions.

Sounds like Lehman Brother's CEO. Sounds like Bernie Madoff.

Pass the bill, New York state Legislature and sign it, Governor Patterson !!!!

Let's make the offending creeps pay with jail time, public humiliation, and by enormous financial judgements paid to the affected victims.

Stop letting them use the secrecy of their doctrines, rituals, imaginary friends and strange dress codes to expoit children !!!

If they actually believe in any of the morality they preach, why are they opposed to prosecuting those among them who abused children ?

Is it just that they don't want to spend the money?
