Yankeetorial: Like the White House, we need new words for our enemies

The Obama administration has announced it will no longer refer to terror war prisoners as "enemy combatants."

We at IIH-IIF-IIc applaud this decision.

In the spirit of open bloggerment, we have decided to issue our own new names for 2009.

1. The city of Scranton shall no longer be called "The Coal Mine." From now on, it shall be known as "Columbus-Wilkes Barre."

2. Henceforth, Trenton shall cease to be referred to as "The Parking Lot." It is now "Trent-Lott."

3. In the future, all Yankee save situations will be referred to as "Gitmo."

4. Kevin Youkilis is no longer "Beanie Baby." Henceforth, he is "The Greek God of Concussions."

5. We must not call Dustin Pedroia "Little Pappi." He is now "Pedro."

6. David Ortiz shall not be called "Big Pappi." He is "the Minstrel of Winstrol."

More definitions forthcoming?
