Three days into the new luxury box reality, we have already suffered two of the most humiliating defeats in years.
Really now, ask yourselves: Weren't we all hoping for another grand slam home run in the 9th, so they would have racked up 26 runs? Wouldn't it have been more enjoyable to see Damaso Marte clubbed around one more time?
This was surreal, watching Derek Jeter, Mark Teixeira and Johnny Damon standing in t-shirts and watching Cleveland -- Cleveland -- kick our asses around with a score that belonged in a Little League game.
The greatest fear of all... what if Alphonso is right?
This is enough. CMW deserves the "Eight Belles" tretment.

Go Marlins!
ReplyDeleteWhen is Alphonso ever wrong?
ReplyDeleteAlphonso said we'd end up in third place. I'm beginning to think he was being optimistic.
ReplyDeleteWang is nothing to worry about. We have Hughes. Let Wang go figure his stuff out. He hasnt pitched in a while. This happens sometimes to pitchers after long DL stints.
ReplyDeleteThe real problem is Matsui and Nady gone.
We should have signed Manny.
If this Yankees team finishes 4th or 5th in the AL East, it will be the biggest debacle since the Detroit Lions.
