Spring History to Be Made: Exhibition Post-Season Playoffs Begin Tonight

You can feel it in the air: The crisp smell of autumn! PLAYOFF FEVER!
.
Bud Selig finally did it. He figured out how to emulate the NFL's cash cow exhibition season. Two guaranteed sell-outs at premium prices, plus TV exposure, and not even a squeak from the players' union.
.
Moreover, we've managed to turn meaningless games -- meaningless, of course, unless someone gets injured -- into must-win situations.
.
That's right, folks. This is the most important exhibition game these men will ever play. Tonight will make or break someone's entire exhibition career.
.
We won the Grapefruit League Championship. And yes, there were incredible moments, such as -- uhm, well -- too many to list! But they mean nothing now. All that matters are the playoffs. This is April!

  1. These games are only must win if we win. If we lose they are meaningless bullshit till the April home opener.
