Ryan Pope, 22-year-old RH, former 3rd round pick (2007) throws a one-hitter over 7 today for Trenton over the always-dangerous Sea Dogs.
The other Texiera guy, Kanekoa, the one who came packaged with Swisher, pitched the final two hitless innings.
Great game for Pope, who hadn't done squat this year.
He goes 7 shutout innings, lowering his ERA to 4.32.
Hey, the way things are going, six weeks from now, he could be in New York.
