Torre: "It's Proctor's fault. He's stupid."


Now that Joe Torre doesn't have to rely on Scott Proctor's arm every six innings on both coasts, he can speak freely about the sturdy reliever's injuries.

And what does he say?

He's a dumb-ass for pitching so much.

"There's playing hurt, and then there's playing stupid," Torre said.

Awesome.
