John, tired and sluggish from 15-0 blowout over Mets, warbles weakly

John Sterling, haggard from a day of tabulating Yank runs, blew a meager 4.89-second WinWarble Sunday -- 0.11 seconds below the famed Fran Healy Line, the universal measurment of sports announcing excellence -- following the team's' 15-0 crushing of the crosstown rival Mets.

  2. John is losing something off his warble, that is clear.

    It is like johan Santana losing something off his fastball.

    Maybe John has a blister or a split vocal chord.

    In any case, his next start will be crucial.
