We must come back together and celebrate fair and honest elections

To the Yankiverse:

This week, the anxieties of true democracy threatened to open a chasm within our vast community of intellectual supergiants.

For a few moments, we seemed to forget our true enemies:

The Redsocks.

Today, we will christen a new Yankee Employee of the Month -- voted by you, the general public.

We must celebrate this crowning achievement of democracy, then turn our spleens in the direction of those who would gleefully destroy us, if given a leadoff walk in the eighth.

It is time to come together.
