The Associated Press reports that Anna Karen Morrow, who had a recurring role as "Mrs. Chernak" on Peyton Place and played a "Sarpeidon mort" (left) on one episode of Star Trek in the 1960s, has died.Among her other memorable roles, (according to IMDB):
"Woman #1" on an episode of "Gunsmoke"
"Miss Carr" on two (yep, two!) episodes of "Marcus Welby, M.D."
"Latin Stewardess" (uncredited) in "Holiday for Lovers"
OK, so we're reaching here ... really reaching ... but it's only the Mariners, so it might be enough.
Editor's note: Like el Duque put in his Karl Malden post -- we at It Is High take no joy in the deaths of any celebrity, and we offer our condolences to the families of all the celebrities who have kicked the bucket in the last week or so ... but hey, every game counts.

In the end this was not enough of a celebrity to keep the streak alive.
