Why don't we also ask the Pirates for Jim Fregosi too?

The New York Post gives Yankee Universe (Is that trademarked now? Do I have to buy one of the Legends Suites to use that term? Can the crack IIH IIF IIc law team get on that?) a glimpse of who Cashman might be looking at as an alternative for Roy Halladay.

"The Yanks also are looking for more immediate pitching fixes, and the Toronto Sun reports they're interested in Ian Snell of the Pirates. The struggling righty is 2-8 with a 5.36 ERA, and was demoted to Triple-A Indianapolis on June 25."

I feel like I'm watching a bad horror movie. I'll bet anybody $100 that we give up Jesus of Trenton and/or Austin Jackson for Ian Snell.

  2. I read something somewhere about this dude the other day; he said he absolutely hated pitching in Pittsburgh, and in his first game in the minors he struck out 13 or something stupid like that. I don't blame him... Pittsburgh sucks.
