John, broadcasting unconscious, hits 7.33-second Walkoff WinWarble

To the Yankinverse:

When the game is on the line, gather the family around the Motorolla and turn the volume knob to the right, far as it will go, because John Sterling is on fire, and nobody can put it out. He is taking us to Max Yazgur's farm, riding shotguns in the sky, turning into butterflies above our nation. Or something like that.

A seven point three three second WinWarble.

And a month ago, we were doubting him. Hah. I say, Hah.

  1. The win warble is nice. It's like a BA for baseball players. But what we need is an OBP. What is the average length of just the warble itself?

  2. Speaking of which, el duque, since you stopped posting daily results I'm going to need all of your data in a tidy format at the end of the season so I can wrap up some scientific results re: John.

  3. Very impressive. No loss of volume thru the warble. No dog days of August for John.

  4. I'm doing the index on a weekly basis, and you will be amazed at how John has turned it on. The pennant race has energized him.
