Five Keys to the Big Seattle Series

1. Get out in front early! We can't afford to fall behind and expect our bats to awaken in the ninth. The Seahawks can score runs in buckets. But if we put up a fivespot early, first inning preferably, they'll be off their game.

2. Defense, defense, defense! We can't give up the easy run. They hit it, we catch it. Every fielder out there has to be saying between every pitch: "Hit the ball to me, mutherfukker!"

3. Stay focused! It's a nine-inning game. Never forget it! If they score early, knock out our starter, we're not dead. We can come back! Stay in the game! Concentrate!

4. We need a big play! A game can turn on a dime, on the bounce of a ball. We need that break! We need to make it happen! We can't sit back on our heels and wait for lady luck to come our way. We need to grab her!

5. Show 'em who's boss, gadammot! You wanna crack skulls? OK, Seattle bullyboys, we'll crack some skulls! Let them feel the pop of our leather! Win!

  2. This post reveals you, duque, for what you truly are...a Boss Steingrabber wannabe. Too bad you're only kindred spirits with and not genetically tied to Herr Bossman.
