The Toronto Sun

Dear Editor,
I am confused as to why Toronto Blue Jays fans would boo the New York Yankees' Derek Jeter at every at-bat this past Saturday. Booing A-Rod I understand, but in our era has there been a classier act than DJ? I don't like to cast athletes as role models to children as I believe that role should be taken on by parents, aunts, and uncles, but Jeter more than fulfils that role. I have never heard one bit of dirt about DJ and if there was any dirt to be found you can be sure the New York media would uncover it. All I can think is that Toronto fans must be jealous. But then again this is the same city that booed Bobby Orr. Show some class, T.O!
