Wishful Thinking...What the Yanks Need in the Post Season

We better start hoping that we get the Tigers in round one and the Twins in round two.

I'm not sure we are going to win more than 3 games more this season. Including, one or none in LA and one or none in Boston.

With Wakefield back to throw off our hitters after battling, say, Josh Beckett, then another bout with Dice K.....and, well, we do have Joba saving his best 3 inning outing of the year for the playoffs.

AJ was signed to beat Boston and he has mostly pitched batting practice to them.

Andy is big time if his arm doesn't fall off first.

CC can hang with anyone, if the Yankees can score runs.

Otherwise, it is up to Chad and Serge.

Hopefully, we'll be well rested.

  1. Fonz, you and Duque are starting to sound like poor CJ Nitkowski.

    SUPERF......

As you know, I've got your back. Always.

As to our current state of anxiety and depression, we've seen these patterns too many times before.

We can't beat the Angels in California.

We can't beat the Red Sox when they have Wakefield and we don't have Aaron Boone.

We are worried for good reason.

    AJ is unreliable.
    Andy is old.
    Joba is a joke.
    Mo can't always be perfect.
Bruney is CJ NItkowski and would be better off pitching in Japan.
Coke and Robertson have never pitched in a meaningful game.

    We are very afraid.
