Billy Buck started his Red Sox career with #16, but was wearing #6 at the time of his infamous error.
Renteria doesn't provide much inspiration given that he washed out of Boston after just one season during which he was lackluster at the plate and hideous in the field.
Other than Joe Montana, can anyone name any truly outstanding athletes who've worn 16?
