This isn't meant to knock the guy: Hell, he's a goddamm better man than I am. He's gone farther in life, seen more of the human carnival, than I ever will.
But he's no Shelley. No, sir. If the Yankees think they signed the next Shelley, forget it.
And for Reid to log time for us wiil probably require at least two Crosby-Sheffieldesque mash-ups out there.
No Shelley. Scranton still has a hole in its heart the size of a coal mine.
