SNOBS TAKE BRONX
Yankee Stadium to host wine tasting.
Later this month, Sonoma-Cutrer Wines will host a wine tasting at NYY Steak, in the latest showcase of Yankee Stadium's offseason capabilities. When the Steinbrenner family first began drawing up plans for the new Yankee Stadium, they envisioned a facility that could be used year-round for concerts, non-baseball sporting events and other occasions.
Sonoma-Cutrer's event, to be held Jan. 26, is yet another example of that vision come to fruition. The wine tasting, which includes a cocktail hour and a five-course dinner, is the final event that winemaker Terry Adams will host before retirement.
Those snobs are helping to fund the current World Champions. Snob money is still money.
ReplyDeleteI hear Alphonso will crash the party
ReplyDeleteEveryone who attends should be required to contribute to a Bring Back Johnny fund.
ReplyDeleteReaders of this blog obviously won't be invited, but maybe we can organize a bake sale.
