Trouble in Milford

Our line in the sandtraps of Connecticut has been breached.
.
"Cablevision added the New England Sports Network, which carries Red Sox games and analysis along with Boston Bruins hockey, to its "family basic'' lineup after years of lobbying by Milford officials and customers.
.
"The addition, which took effect Dec. 29, is only in Milford, Orange and Woodbridge, Cablevision officials said. The rest of its service area is in Fairfield County, which is in the New York Yankees' home market. "
.
DAMMIT. WHEN WE LET AN OUTPOST BE INFILTRATED, WE PUT YANKEE FANS AT RISK. WHAT HAPPENED? WHY IS THERE NOT MORE MEDIA ABOUT THIS? REDSOCK CELLS WILL BE OPERATING RIGHT OUT IN THE OPEN, AND WE LET THIS HAPPEN?

If George will still in charge, we'd have some Yankee truth squads headed to Milford right this minute.

SIGN JOHNNY DAMON, DAMMIT, OR CONNECTICUT COULD BECOME A RED STATE.

  1. Nooo! As a CT citizen, this is horrendous. No taxation without Yankee representation. If Milford can get the Red Sox, then how come when I go to UCONN... they can't give me the Yanks.

  2. The jaggoffs at Cablevision put NESN on the channel right next to SNY. No one is watching those channels.

Milford's got yer Yankees fans - people who lived in Southern CT, then moved to Milford - and Milford's got yer Redsock fans - Massholes that mistakenly took exit 36 off 95 and can't find their way back 'nahth'.

  3. I am from CT and its outrageous. I live in northern CT where I admit Sox fans out number us by maybe 55-45%. I can't get YES from our cable provider and you can't even purchase it as an extra package (unless you buy the whole MLB package)

I just find it absurd that the tens of thousands of Yankee fans in Central and Northen CT can't watch Yankee games on cable. We are all stuck listening to the scratchy AM radio...at least we have the best announcers to listen too.
