We're standing in line to bid on Wang

Fifteen teams want him. That means, what -- a couple don't?

If we let him go, after all he gave us, if we're outbid by the Royals or the Rockies or the Tokyo Giants... just so the Steinbrenners can stock their yachts with better clam dip... shame, shame, shame.

This should have been a great winter. Right now, it's looking darker and darker because of the cheap tighwad owners who are trying to appease Bud "$16.5 million per year" Selig and keep costs down.

Every week, Boston signs somebody with a future, while we surrender prospects for somebody with a past.

    Who has Boston signed that has a future?

    Beltre? One year deal and he's aging and his offensive production is worse than Nick Johnson's.

    Cameron? The dude is 37

    You are still just hung up about Lackey. And probably rightfully so...we coulda signed him and not traded away talent for Javy. But Boston is hardly signing FAs with futures.

    Duque's right. The 2010 season is over and we're finishing in the cellar. And all because we value mediocrities like CC Sabathia and Mariano Rivera over Hall-Of-Famers like John Lackey and Adrian Beltre.

    I wanted Wang back until the brilliant move of Melky for Javy. You have to give Cash credit, and I'll give him more credit if he signs Damon for a year and 5 mill.

    Let's move on, unless we get him back and have Hughes and Joba in the pen..

    It makes no sense, but I still crave to see Wang in a Yankee uniform.

    And 37 yr-old Scott Eyre. Hey, 30th in MVP voting in 2005? It can happen again.
