Carly Simon names Mark Felt as mystery subject of "You're So Vain"

One of the great mysteries of human history has been solved.

Carly Simon says the subject of her greatest hit song, right up there with "Anticipation," which she sold to ketsup commecials, is none other than former FBI chief Mark Felt.

According to an interview, Simon says if you play "You're so Vain" backwards, the words "Follow the money!" can be heard.

  1. Was Mark Felt the guy who caught OJ?

  2. No thats a common misconception. OJ was never caught again after his escape. He was on a prison transport a few years ago that crashed and he was never seen again. Mark Felt is leading the man hunt.
Word is that OJ in still in LA and spending his time searching for the real killer. Some one armed son of a bitch.

  3. She's just saying that because Felt is dead. It was really Bob Woodward, but if she names him she's afraid he'll write a book about her.
