An A-balm for A-rod: Did Alex try to get free Canadian medical care?

That's what it sounds like. The new Dr. October now faces accusations of muling across the border into Canada for the free health care.

Anything to save few bucks, eh, TightRod?

"A Toronto-based doctor under investigation for possibly distributing performance-enhancing drugs in the United States told The Associated Press on Monday that he treated Alex Rodriguez for an inflamed hip last year."

"If the doctor’s statement is true, Rodriguez could be in violation of his contract with the Yankees because the team said in a statement last week that it never authorized Rodriguez to be treated by the doctor, Anthony Galea."

This is as cheap as it gets. Of course, it's been done before. Let's hope while in Toronto, Alex took the time to visit the Canadian ballet.
