Paterson watched freebie World Series from primo seat

The living punch-me balloon that is Eliot Spitzer-acolyte David Paterson is now being accused of accepting free primo tickets to opening day of the World Series.

This is an outrage.
Word is that Paterson's seat (at right) was given to him -- free, no charge, gratis, nada, zip, eat and run -- and the governor was delighted with his close-up view of the action on the field.
Unfortunately, he did not learn from the Spitzmeister. Paterson has turned out to be a cheapo.

"In addition to violating the state's ban on gifts to public officials, the commission found that Mr. Paterson falsely testified under oath that he had intended to pay for the tickets for his son and his son's friend. The commission determined that Mr. Paterson had never intended to pay for the tickets and only did so after inquiries from the media, after which he submitted a backdated check as payment."
This is an outrage.

WE CANNOT AFFORD THE MOST EXPENSIVE TEAM IN BASEBALL UNLESS RICH PEOPLE PONY UP FOR TICKETS.
IS THIS WHY JOHNNY IS IN DETROIT?

  1. His son goes to public school but Spitzer's kids attend(ed) pricey private school, so I don't think Bad News Dave is that rich.

If he sat at the game without listening to John and Suzyn on the radio, I question if he is really blind.
