In the interest of equal time ...

Recently, I pointed out the Worst. Song. Ever. It was about the Florida Marlins.

As part of my apology for subjecting you to that assault on your senses, I offer a much more palatable piece of baseball-themed music. This is a performance by The Baseball Project. (Yes, that's Peter Buck from R.E.M. on the right.)

(Note: When Letterman says their CD will be out in July, that's 2009)

  3. Thanks for sharing! I saw these guys at my great uncle's nursing home and they had the crowd hopping!

  4. When I was a kid I had a 45 rpm record with Rizzuto, Campanella. Branca, and Mantle singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame on one side and some silly song about umpires on the other. My Mom threw it out with my cards.
