Jeez's Year
Not bad. He was barely hitting his weight through the first 50 games. The second half of the season, he hit almost .350.
As for fielding...
Twenty three percent of stolen bases? Not good. Not terrible.
By next July, he is our starting catcher, batting sixth. (Crawford, Swisher, Teixteira, Cano, Arod, Montero, Posada, Granderson, Jeter)

I could live with that lineup for sure. But who would be the second and third DHs, assuming we're going with a pared-down 3-DH lineup?
ReplyDeleteMontero hit his 20th HR tonight going 3 for 5. He's up to .291.
ReplyDeleteMeh. I'd see if I'd could trade Granderson for a starting pitcher this offseason, start Gardner in center batting 9th and move Jeter to the 8 hole.
