Through the tears, it's time to nominate October's Yankee Employee of the Month!

Who will wear the pin?
C.C.?
Andy?
Jeet?
Mo?
John?
Suzyn?
Robbie?
Dave "No Man is a Whipping Post" Eilland?

  1. I nominate:

    Freddy "Sez" Schuman, who had the good sense to be elsewhere for the final four games of the ALCS;

    Michael Kay, who correctly predicted the ALCS to be over after Game 1;

    and the Minnesota Twins, who, for a brief shining moment, made us feel young again.

  2. AJ Burnett, for making us dare to hope again.

    Jorge Posada, World's Best Grandpa.

    Haley Swindal, voice of America.

    Joe Girardi's binder.

    I second the nomination of Freddie "Sez." Not strictly a Yankee employee, but certainly a Yankee tool.

  3. Javy Vazquez, for not allowing a single earned run in the playoffs!!!

    Eduardo Nunez, emergency callup- definitely made an impact.

  4. Kimberly Jones for being Kimberly Jones. She never lets us down.

  5. I'll second the first nomination. On one condition... don't blame me for the recent failure of the most talented team in baseball.

  6. I never used to play this game.

    I always thought this award should represent irony/failure.

    But Robbie is the only Yankee who played like a champion in the playoffs.

    Does he have a movie star girlfriend?

  7. Gotta be Freddy Sez. That guy made Yankee Stadium special, he'll be missed.
