"Yes-We-Can!" Redsocks entering big series with important personal achievements on minds

Who dare sez dese games don't count!

Not Big Papi! He'll be looking to notch walk No. 80!

Marco Scutero -- just 4 RBIs shy of Sizzlin' 60!

If Cappy Varitek gets in, he needs 5 hits to keep his career string of 30-hit seasons alive!

Don't forget the red hot Redsock J.D. Drew: A couple hits, and he'll pull himself above the magical .260!

Plus, future free agent Victor Martinez, looking to cash in on his big season (20 HR, .303), is within just one RBI of 80. Yes, eighty!

  1. And if Frankie Cervelli can hit a high fly over the wall he'll be able to get that 0 out of his HR column. If not, he'll be the first Yankee catcher to play in more than half the team's games without hitting a homer since Gus Niarhos in 1948.
