Is Jorge Vazquez the result of DNA engineering, and if so, should Yankee fans everywhere fear or celebrate him?

Chatter in the Yankiverse surrounds Jorge Vazquez, the 28-year-old "rookie from the Mexican Leagues," as scouts claim (wink wink). In his first two spring games, this incredible 1B-OF hit two tape-measure home runs and batted .877, winning the title of YANKEE FEBRUARY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH.

But who is this strange visitor from another planet with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal man?

The answer may be in his name -- a carefully constructed algorhythm for the Yankees from which his DNA was engineered. One great Yankee -- and one anti-Yankee.

At considerable expense, we at IT IS HIGH have obtained laboratory data involving the creation of this Yankee man-borg, who sprang from genetic pools of Jorge Posada and Javier Vazquez.

The team of scientists, graduates of the famed
Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES Academy in Syracuse NY,
then created an offspring.

He grew quickly, in a matter of minutes. The plan was to use the handsome features of the two Yankees to create Javier Posada, a supermodel capable of selling the highest priced skin creams and toothpastes known to mankind.

Today, that Yankee has arrived... but it's not Javier Posada.

It is Jorge Vazquez.
