The Wizard Of The Yankees

This has been going on for years, so don't expect anything to change.

Once we started to lose to Boston, and once they handed us the worst humiliation in the history of the game, and once they won the World series......they felt no compunction not to beat up on us and intimidate.

For years they threw at Derek. When history is recorded, it will turn out that of the 1000 times Derek has been hit by a pitch, 74% of the time is was by Boston pitchers, in Boston.

And now they pretty much throw with impunity at any yankee who is playing well against them.

The last tough guy we had on the Yankees was Don Zimmer. And that relief pitcher from Australia.

Now, consumed with dating movie stars, none of our players wishes to engage. Rather, just let them hit us while beating up on us.

You are hoping for AJ to nail Big Poppy in the chops tonight? Have another drink.

He'll give up a homer; then Derek will get hit again.

By the way, there is no way Tex plays for at least 7-10 days.

Jorge at first base for a week? Make me laugh.

We should hand out pacifiers at the stadium, with the Yankee logo.

Cowards.

  1. Start Nova.
Let him hit a couple of guys and get thrown out. Then bring in Robertson to get out of the jam.
A.J. comes in in the second inning.
Also, Swish at first, Dickshot in right, Posada back to DH.
And Gardner in left; even he should be able to steal a base against a knuckleballer. But he isn't allowed to swing. Just wait for 4 knucklers to wobble outside the strike zone.
Time to try the unconventional, because we haven't been able to beat these punks any other way.
