There's certainly no good news coming from Toronto tonight, so instead.......
Last night, Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada set the Yankee record for most games played together by a pair of Yankees. They passed Lou Gehrig and Tony Lazzeri by playing for the 1,660th time together in a regular season game.
I couldn't find a pic of a young Mrs. Lazzeri, so it is possible that Mae (pictured above at the 1991 Hall of Fame Induction), could have been once a fox.
Lazzeri was an often overlooked, great Yankee.
